We’re a gay/lesbian couple who would like to marry

On the 5th December 2005, the Civil Partnership Act came into force. For the first time, gay and lesbian couples were granted the same rights as traditional married couples. Rights that only end in the event of death, dissolution or annulment.

If you want to officially cement your partnership in front of your family and friends, we would be proud to help. We offer a range of services including Pre-Civil Partnership Agreement advice, housing, maintenance, pensions, intestacy and the effects partnership may have on any children involved.

If you’re confused about any legal jargon or legal instruction, see our ‘Glossary of Divorce and Family Law Terms’ in our ‘Store Cupboard’. And for a practical guide, see Life After Divorce.
